The role
We’re seeking a People & Talent Manager to shape the culture, processes, and policies that will enable us to scale efficiently and effectively. You’ll be first on the ground in people & talent and will be tasked with ensuring we have the right personnel, culture, processes, and policies in place to scale collaboratively and efficiently. Using your experience in working with leadership teams, you’ll help drive activities ranging from headcount planning to culture and performance initiatives, ensuring our growth is responsible and in line with our mission statement. With a seat at the table, you’ll have the influence to steer the business in a direction that grows and retains market-leading talent.
In this hands-on operational role, you’ll work closely with the founding team to develop tools, processes, and policies from the ground up. Your mission is to build a flexible, cohesive, and high-performing workforce by formalising frameworks for hiring, progression, learning and development (L&D), and diversity and inclusion (D&I), while ensuring the team feels psychologically safe to perform at their best and making the company an exceptional place to work globally.
This is a greenfield role, so we’re looking for someone who can scale a complex business from a solid state to a world-class one, defining tools, processes and policies that set us up for success. You’ll be excited by a sleeves-up operational role, and helping wherever the business needs it. Reporting directly to the founding team, you’ll have the full support to lead these key growth initiatives where you see fit.
This role is for experienced people & talent leaders who can jump in, have an entrepreneurial mindset, be problem solvers and can execute on opportunities quickly. We are here to build an institution that changes the way the world collaboratively works on the largest problems our planet is facing, and the only way we can do that is by making sure we attract and encourage the very best team.
